As the second in a series and one of two on nickel, this case study describes environmental and associated social issues from nickel mining and processing in Ontario, Canada, and examines policy measures for managing them.
The conclusions and lessons learned from this case study can be used to guide sustainable nickel sulfide ore mining and processing in Canada, as well as other jurisdictions.
