Mining Policy Framework
The IGF’s Mining Policy Framework (MPF) is central to all the Secretariat’s activities. It provides governments with objectives and processes for good practices for environmental, social, and economic governance.
Technical Assistance
We provide short to medium term technical assistance that is tailored to help our member governments overcome the unique gaps or challenges they face in advancing good legal and policy frameworks and tools for the mining sector.
Capacity Building
We design and deliver capacity building and training programs to expand our members’ skills, knowledge, and abilities to implement and maintain good governance practices to ensure mining activity supports communities, economies, and the environment.
