Report Launch | Strategic Environmental Assessment for the Mining Sector

The IGF partnered with the Netherlands Commission for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) to launch a joint report Strategic Environmental Assessment for the Mining Sector: Lessons from Country Case Studies with a theme forum session during the 43rd Annual Conference of the International Association for Impact Assessment on April 25, 2024.

The event included a panel discussion on impacts and overcoming obstacles to SEA for mining, and the organizers used interactive tools to generate ideas from participants on how to support the use of SEA in mining.
