Souleyman Eli Guihinimi is a senior executive in Chad's mining sector with over 17 years' experience in the Ministry of Mines. Trained in Tunisia, he holds a master's degree in biology and ecophysiology of plant organisms and a master's degree in geology and biology from the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax.
During his career, he has held several senior positions, including Director of the Mining Registry, Director of Mines, Head of the Environmental Studies Division, and Head of the Quarry Control and Monitoring Division. His career has made him one of the key players in the regulation, development and sustainable governance of mineral resources in Chad.
Committed to international cooperation, Souleyman represents the country in various forums. His areas of expertise cover administrative and environmental management, mining cadastre expertise, mineral exploration, artisanal gold mining, mining contract negotiation, and geographic information systems. He also has specialized knowledge in tectonics, sedimentology, paleontology, and stratigraphy.
