Marion Provencher Langlois

Gender Analyst

Marion Provencher Langlois is a gender analyst working with the IGF on gender-related initiatives across the Secretariat.

Prior to joining the IGF, Marion worked as a gender program officer at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining, focusing on the design, implementation, and monitoring of results-based management-compliant activities with the gender and mine action program. She developed research material on victim assistance, prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment, and the impact of women's employment across the 2030 Agenda. She also developed and delivered several training courses, including an interactive online module, as well as supported the development of a community of gender focal points in the disarmament sector.

She holds a Master of Arts specialized in anthropology of international development from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

Marion speaks English and French and is based in Montreal, Canada.
